When I was growing up, in the USA, 1950’s. The bottles had a deposit on them. As kids, we would collect bottles and cash them in for spending money.

My oldest and his family are in Scotland right now, they are on a trip tour with their church group! they already visited England, they are in Scotland right now and then on to Ireland! Big fan of Poldark grew up in and around that area and a lot of my relatives were “Watermen” and Cornwall. It’s a lovely place. Some of my English ancestors were from there migrated to the eastern shore of Maryland. I can never be to far from the coast. Loved the views of the Cornish coast. Thank you!

Absolutely love the shape and setting. The outside is so unique and special. However, I guess I am in the minority with not liking the decor. Much too busy for the size.

Lovely video. I'm lucky enough to live here and I'm a sculptor. Not only art here, it attracts musicians too mainly of the modern era of blues, rock and jazz. We have connections with Van Morrison, Ginger Baker, The Shadows, Bill Bruford and Free. I myself had a conversation once outside my house with Robert Plant. So bizarre for such a tiny town. Also the 'Father' of organic farming was born here, a Victorian, Sir Albert Howard. And there's the beautiful hill walking to be done here. Offas Dyke is only 2 miles out of town. Lastly we've got the oldest working brewery in the UK from 1642 and the beer is delicious!

Here, in my town, within the United States, we have what’s entitled a Re-store. Thousands of people donate, not only bits and bobs, but beautiful antique furniture, unused wall covering rolls, material, furnishings, hardware, and the list goes on. Since I love to reuse things and since older things seem to have been made with more integrity, I often stop at the Re-store first when researching a project. I’m sure you two would have a wonderful time visiting one of our Re-stores. I can’t wait to see what clever decor schemes you both come up with while renovating your kitchen and utility room spaces.😊

At 22:00 Kirsten my mother would always tell us the colors you see in nature like Blue & Green will go together because if you look at the sky & grass God shows us in nature what works well you can never go wrong. I have always loved how she made decorating fun because she would be bold and try things others were afraid to try. Love you both and I always enjoy your channel! 🌎

I admire the way in which you came together, to weigh the pros and cons, in order to make the best decision for you as a couple. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed your various tours, educational videos, and culinary adventures. I found your channel after losing my fiancé. It truly engrossed me and continues to do so as I grieve. We were both 48 when he passed, and now at 49, for what it’s worth, your content has inspired me to embark on some long-awaited adventures of my own. Even if you decide, as a couple, to return to Germany, I think you will return there more enriched and cultured having taken advantage of a once in a lifetime offer. As a history graduate with a minor in sociology, it has been a dream of mine to tour Germany, Poland, England, as well as a slew of other European countries. Needless to say, if you end up returning to Germany, I sure do hope you both continue creating such captivating content, as I am sure I am expressing the opinion of your audience majority here.😊
